DISCO DUST LONDON

Founder & creative director

Before establishing herself as a makeup artist, Nic founded Disco Dust London in 2016 — one of the first eco glitter brands on the market. Driven by a passion for inclusivity, creative sustainability and innovation, the brand was stocked in the UK and US by Topshop, House of Fraser, Dolls Kill, BeautyMART, Not On The High Street, and Harvey Nichols. Through Disco Dust, Nic curated and managed pop-up glam activations for brands including Jägermeister, Universal Music, Sky TV, and Samsung, as well as countless music festivals such as Glastonbury, Wide Awake, City Splash, Cross the Tracks, Secret Garden Party, and Meadows in the Mountains.

With a history of being consistently told off for wearing a school uniform that was ‘too flamboyant’, Nic went on to receive a distinction level qualification from her Fashion Textile pieces in the BA14 London College of fashion Press Runway show. This inspired a journey from Vogue to Dazed to Harpers Bizarre and beyond of 3D hair textiles, hair braiding and eventually glitter makeup creations.
